Last Call for the MYSG Wellbeing Event

This is the last call for our first Wellbeing Event of the year on 3 February 2016. As a reminder, the details are below:
The event will be completely free to members and is being sponsored by QC Legal who are providing goody bags packed with healthy goodies.
The event will start at 6:15pm at the Banyan Tree, Ellesmere Street M15 4JY. Please meet us there or alternatively members of the MYSG committee and QC Legal will meet you in the foyer of 3 Hardman Street, Spinningfields at 6pm should people not be sure of Banyan Tree’s location. There will be two groups going over, a jogging group and walking group, so come dressed in your fitness gear should you wish.
The nutritional talk will take place at Banyan Tree, Castlefield and is being given by Christina Galloway. Christina is a certified expert in nutrition and lifestyle and has a diploma in sports coaching as well as being a CrossFit level 1 coach, professional gym instructor in instruction, core stability and circuits and is also a Preggi Bellies instructor. She is a true believer that health and wellbeing is multi-faceted and refers to it as being “a list of ingredients”- add a little bit of everything and you get something fulfilling & satisfying. Add one or two and it’s either too bland or just salty, and you can’t actually enjoy it! Christina will be focusing on nutrition and the idea of stepping away from fad diets and the diet culture in general and thinking more specifically about how to start and maintain a nutritional and satisfying eating routine which will change the way you think about food.
The Train Manchester CrossFit facility is opposite the bar so we will walk over and get set up for the class which starts at 8pm. There are changing rooms and showering facilities available, should you wish to use them.
Numbers are strictly limited to 20, so sign up early to get involved. Please email Abby Lowther at abigail.Lowther@slaterheelis.co.uk quoting “CrossFit” in the subject line.
